Description

The prized Chemdawg #4 X Tres Dawg cut collides with FastBuds unique autoflowering genetics to give rise to a new breed of Stardawg Auto. This robust Sativa-Indica hybrid is an all-star when it comes to growth, taste, and beholds a tasty 22% THC, so novices may want to watch out.

Bud description

Hall of fame nugs. Boasting a clear green color blended with coats of crystals and orange pistils, oozing with resin that’ll stick to your fingers as you crumble it into your grinder. Outstanding bud for extractions.

Smoke report

Eloquent High. Bringing you the best of both worlds, a mixture of a Sativa head high and with an Indica body rush makes it an all-round experience when smoked. Novices will want to be careful, this strain can be quite overwhelming for the new smokers.

Plant Appearance

A robust plant that can grow up to 1.2m in height. Growers can expect a main cola to shoot up, accompanied by widening side branches. A good internodal spacing allowing packed clusters of buds to produce girthy colas.

Grow tips

Stardawg is ideal for novices and pros alike. She’ll willingly put up with training methods and will be forgiving of the novice’s mistake. Some SOG or LST will be welcome for the more experienced growers. Expect to harvest around week 9 or 10 and make sure to start flushing a couple of weeks before you do so. Growers may want to invest in a carbon filter because she can be quite strong smelling.

Taste

Smoking Loud. This strain brings strong pine and diesel-like tastes. A sort of bitter, earthy nuances submerges your taste buds, that combined with the strong piney flavors, really gives it a full yet unique spectrum of tastes.

Customer questions & answers

What's better for growing this strain, soil or coco?
Thanks for asking! It depends on the type of nutrients you'll be using, organic nutrients are better when growing in soil and synthetic are better when growing in coco fiber.
My Stardawg is one week old and is about 4 cm tall. Is that normal for this age?
Hi! Yes, after one week your plant is still a seedling so it's normal, you'll see your seedling grow exponentially after the roots have established.
I want to train my plant and I've seen some people mention the tie down method and LST. Is it the same thing?
Hello! The tie-down method is a type of LST. Other LST methods include SOG and SCROG.
Does this strain contain CBN?
Hi! This strain doesn't necessarily contain a lot of CBN but if you let your plants a couple of days longer (after they're ready for harvest) THC will degrade into CBN.
is this strain good for colder climates?
Hello! It depends on how low the temperatures are. If you're suffering from temperatures lower than 17 celsius you should take a look at our Northern Light Auto, Rhino Ryder Auto, and OG Kush auto.
Is this plant hard to grow as I’m just starting of. Thanks
Hello, this strain is quite resistant and can recover from beginner mistakes so as long as you keep good conditions you won't have a problem.
What are the best nutrients to use to get the most out of my stardawg?
Hello, thanks for your question! We recommend using 100% organic nutrients.
Hi this is my first time I have got these seeds how do I start them off should I soak them in water and cal mag? Also how would I set up canna coco Natural ?
Hello, thanks for asking! We recommend soaking our seeds in water for up to 48hrs and placing them in a paper towel if the radicle hasn't come out yet.
I have harvested and dried my plant and now I need to cure them, but for how long?
Hello! You should cure your buds in a glass jar for at least 15 days, opening it 2-3 times a day to allow air exchange.
Anything particular I need to know about feeding? I do make a very complete organic soil. Pineapple express last grow need 0 nutes whatsoever. Stardawg's the same?
Some people like to use coco instead of compost, in order to grow bigger roots and therefore a bigger plant. But careful, make sure you get coco specific nutrients or your plants will go yellow, showing signs that it is lacking Nitrogen, among other things. but you really cant beat the 'planted in the south facing garden all summer' method
I want to try growing with hydroponics. Would this be a good strain?
Hello! Yes, all strains are good for hydro as long as you do it properly.
What's the best pot size for your autos?
Hi, thanks for asking! We recommend 12L pots but you can grow them in smaller pots (5L, 8L) whatever suits your growing space.
I heard that piercing the stem with a sharp object a few days before harvesting increases the THC. Is that true?
Hello, thanks for asking! It is said that if you pierce the stem a few days before harvesting your plant will increase resin production but we don't recommend it unless you have experience with this technique and growing autos.
I have some seeds left over from this last summer season and I can't grow them yet. What should I do so that they don't go bad?
Hello! You should store them in a light and waterproof container in the fridge.
The buds have some slightly purple bits on them, why is this?
Hello, thanks for asking! It's completely normal, it could be due to lower temperatures or just an expression of her phenotype.
Hello can u tell me which filters good for growing this seeds
Hello, thanks for asking. As long as it's big enough for your grow space, any carbon filter will work.
My 3 began flowering at 2.5 weeks old, anyone else experience this. Been reading people having huge dawg autos mine are small only just began training them 2 days later they were popping pistals.
Hello, that may be caused by stress due to the training techniques you performed. Please send us an email to info@2fast4buds.com and we'll help you find out what happened.
Why did my Stardawg take 16 & 17 WEEKS!!???
Hello, thanks for asking. The seed to harvest time given is when growing in ideal conditions, if your plants are not getting enough light, food or if the temperature and humidity are less-than-ideal it's possible that your plants take a little bit longer.
